About most countries raced
This ranking shows which mountain bike riders have raced in the largest number of different countries throughout their careers. It counts unique nations a rider has visited to compete, based on the country of every UCI-classified race they have started. Click on a rider's nation count to see the full per-country breakdown with race counts and first/last year for each destination.
How to use the filters
The category filter switches between Men Elite, Women Elite and other UCI categories (we exclude Under 23 by default to keep the ranking focused on long careers). The nationality filter narrows the list to riders from a specific country. The active-riders toggle hides retired riders.
Why countries raced matter
The number of countries a rider has raced in is a direct measure of how international their career has been. World Cup regulars naturally accumulate a high count because the circuit visits multiple continents every season; specialists who race mainly at home accumulate far fewer. The ranking is also a window into who the sport's genuine globetrotters are — riders willing to travel far from home in search of races, points and experience.
