About the all time podiums ranking

The all-time podiums ranking lists riders by their total number of top-3 finishes (1st, 2nd or 3rd place) across every UCI-classified mountain bike race recorded by MTBData. While the wins ranking spotlights race winners, the podiums ranking captures the broader group of riders who have consistently fought for trophies over the course of their careers.

How to use the filters

Filter by discipline to see the podiums ranking for XCO, Downhill, Marathon, Short circuit, Eliminator, Enduro or 4X. The category filter switches between Men Elite, Women Elite, Under 23 and Junior fields. The nationality filter narrows the list to riders from a single country. The active-riders toggle hides retired competitors so you can focus on the current generation.

Why career podiums matter

Podiums are a more sensitive indicator of sustained excellence than wins. A rider who racks up dozens of 2nd and 3rd places without winning many races is still operating at the very top of the sport — often beaten only by an exceptional contemporary. The podium count tells you how often a rider was genuinely in the title fight, regardless of who happened to win on the day.
