The Jeux des Petits Etats de l'Europe (JPEE) 2013 was held in Luxembourg from 28th May to 1st June. This multi-sport event, also known as the Games of the Small States of Europe, is a biennial competition that brings together athletes from nine small European countries. The 2013 edition marked the 15th installment of the games and was the third time Luxembourg had the honor of hosting the event.
The JPEE 2013 in Luxembourg saw participation from Andorra, Cyprus, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Malta, Monaco, San Marino, Luxembourg, and Montenegro. The games featured ten different sports, including athletics, basketball, beach volleyball, cycling, judo, shooting, swimming, table tennis, tennis, and volleyball. The event was a significant opportunity for these small nations to showcase their athletic prowess on a shared platform.
The JPEE 2013 Luxembourg concluded on 31st May 2013, with a grand closing ceremony. The games were a great success, with athletes from all participating countries demonstrating exceptional sportsmanship and competitive spirit.
