The Games of the Small States of Europe 2017 was a multi-sport event that took place in San Marino from 29 May to 3 June 2017. This was the 17th edition of the Games of the Small States of Europe, a biennial games event, recognized by the International Olympic Committee. The games were held in San Marino, a microstate surrounded by Italy, and it was the third time that San Marino had hosted the games, having previously done so in 2001 and 1985.
The Games of the Small States of Europe 2017 featured nine sports, including athletics, basketball, beach volleyball, judo, shooting, swimming, table tennis, tennis, and volleyball. The event was participated by athletes from nine European small states, namely Andorra, Cyprus, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, and the host country, San Marino.
